Appointment of Stelios Trachonitis to the position of Chief Operating Officer
The Board of Directors of Commercial General Insurance announces the appointment of Mr. Stelios Trachonitis to the position of Chief Operating Officer of the Company from February 7th, 2022.
Mr. Trachonitis holds a master’s degree in Business Administration, is a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute (F.C.I.I.) of the United Kingdom and holds the title of Chartered Insurer. He has extensive experience in the Insurance and Banking sector, which he acquired from the managerial positions he held for several years.
Mr. Trachonitis, who will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer of the Company, will be responsible for the administration, control and organization of the work of the various Departments of the Company, specifically the Underwriting, Claims, Marketing Department as well as the Department of Information Technology
Furthermore, through his participation in the Company’s Executive Committee, he will contribute to the definition and implementation of strategic plans and the achievement of the Company’s goals.
