Commercial General Insurance is participating in the campaign against soliciting at the accident scenes
Τhe campaign against soliciting at the scenes of motor accident began on the 3rd of November 2015 by the Insurance Association of Cyprus, with the support of the Cyprus Police and the co-operation of the Cyprus Consumers Association, the Pancyprian Association of Car Panel Beaters & Painters, the Motor Insurer’s Fund of Cyprus and the Cyprus Hire and Rejected Risks Pool, in order to inform drivers of their rights.
The phenomenon of soliciting at the accident scenes involves certain representatives of garage workshops who strongly and persistently are trying to convince the parties involved in accidents to engage their services for repairing their vehicles. This phenomenon generates serious problems in the investigation of the circumstances of accidents and bears negative consequences to the insured.
As part of this campaign, the Insurance Association of Cyprus has issued a relevant brochure which is being distributed to clients of our Company who maintain Motor Insurance Policies.
